mgm is among the ten most successful full-service digital agencies in Germany in terms of revenue. This announcement was made today by the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) at the presentation of the Internet Agency Ranking 2018. With a prorated turnover for agency services of 49.914 million euros in 2017, mgm technology partners improved from 11th place in the previous year to 9th, making it one of the top 10.
2017 was not only a very pleasing year for mgm, but also for the entire industry: according to the BVDW, the turnover of the 180 agencies listed in the ranking rose by 12 percent to a total of 1.59 billion euros. “One of the main drivers for the growth of twelve percent continues to be the digital transformation, which opens up new business areas for the agencies,” explained BVDW Vice President Marco Zingler. The association anticipates continued growth for the current year. “We expect very positive developments in 2018,” says Anke Herbener, Chairwoman of BVDW’s expert group for full-service digital agencies. “However, we are also eager to see what the General Data Protection Regulation and the forthcoming ePrivacy Regulation will mean for the business model of the agencies.”
